The evening sun shone warm in its face.
Paws touched the water, dug into the soft sand.

Only in this world.
The sun never moved. The seasons never changed.
The creatures never changed.

Everything in peace.
Free of war, fear, sin, death.

Only one was there to guard this place.
Emocean had one duty:

Legs started moving. Into the water.

Soft waves splashed against its limbs.
The canine's body started to glow.
Markings appeared, wings grew.
They spread, revealing a blue light as they started to flutter.
With a jump, Emocean set off into the horizon,
A single feather left behind, swimming of the surface.
Warm wind on its face. The peaceful sound of seagulls.
The sun bright, the sea below never ending.
A place lost in time and space;
Every creature as fiery as the ocean's surface
Or as blue as the cerulean depths below.
The canine looked ahead.
This sunset would last forever.
