Born into quite wealthy family, young Klauj never seemed to know how to properly socialize. His parents were busy and rarely had time to pay him any attention, his schoolmates thought he showed off and bragged far too much, and most of all, he was incredibly selfish. He never shared a toy with any other kid, never bought any gifts for anyone, never seemed to care for anyone other than himself. As he grew into a young man, he kept his anti-social ways and chose to live in a secluded mansion with only his servants. True, he had given them a place to stay, but the payment they would receive for such long hours of work seemed hardly fair. Servants would come only to soon quit, and rumors about his cruelty quickly spread. Suspicions of slavery had arisen, but Klauj would never come out from his house to deny anything said against him. Talk about the rich man would only continue to worsen and worsen, until - at the young age of thirty-four - Klauj had passed away due to an unknown cause.
Outraged, Klauj believed his death to be caused by a spiteful servant of his. Since he had no idea who committed the possible murder, he vowed to get his revenge by taking the life of every single person who had ever worked for him. And so he stayed on Earth in the form of a dark foggy ghost with horrible, glowing red eyes, committing murder after murder to satisfy his infuriation. Finally, he had no more victims left, and having fulfilled his promise, Klauj left the world in peace.

An odd complication with one of his past servants would eventually arise, causing his spirit to return from rest. His servant had come back to life! But the fact that he had already passed let Klauj in utter confusion. He is no longer capable of slaying Esshin, and is doomed to forever stay on Earth. And so his restless ghost haunts the land, satisfying his permanent bloodlust by killing strangers that come his way.
