emberous is just like her appearance and her name suggests, very hot-tempered. she's so easy to anger, and she believes the solution for most problems is just giving them a good beating. she's not as menacing as she tries to make people think she is though, if she cannot scare something away by extending her flames and making herself look bigger and more powerful, she'd be the first one to run away. even though she has lots of bad things about her, she's not completely about that too, she can be very warm and friendly to things/people she likes when she's in a good mood.

it is possible that emberous has become how she is now because of events in her past. she was abandoned by her original owner, someone who she had grown to love, when she was still young. she was forced to fend for herself for a good part of her life. many other creatures seemed to love picking on her and reminding her of how miserable she was. until she was rescued and brought to her new home. now she's trying to adapt to her new surroundings and new friends.
