Shi'nyane is a happy go lucky sort of fellow. He so optimistic about everything... he is the type of person who sees the glass as half full; the world as filled with love, good, and beauty in every person, place, or animal. He always looks on the bright side of everything. Sometimes this gets him into trouble, though more often it does make his companions and friends feel better.

No one has ever really seen Shi be sad or down for very long. The longest was of course when he was a small child... he lost a special toy he had for a long time and did spill a number of tears over it's loss. However, after sitting and thinking it through for a very long while he decided that the toy must have felt it was now time to leave to go make another child feel as special as it made him feel. He eventually spotted it several days later in another child's hands, but he never made any attempt to reclaim it... the little girl who had it looked like she needed it more than he did.

It's also hard for people to stay in a depressed or sad mood while Shi is around. He not only is cheerful, but he seems to know just the right things to say to someone to cheer them up. He always has a smile on his face for anyone, even a total stranger on the road. His cheerful moods are quite infectious... when Shi has passed by with his jokes and happy conversations, those left behind are most often smiling and laughing too.
