Skolt the one these legends speak of in the far frozen north. He is demigod, ruling over the vast frigid landscape. Making his home on the tallest mountain, he patrols his territory everyday, looking for things that would warrant his attention, most of which would be unnoticed by mortal eyes. Unlike some other immortals, he takes his role to heart, godling he may be. He comes off just as serious and emotionally cold and distant as his icy realm. Yet inside he is warm and friendly.

Legends and myths state he was born from the union of the north wind meeting the frozen sea. The ice that was formed as warmed by the northern lights, and from that ball of ice Skolt appeared. It is said that he lives in a beautiful yet empty ice palace. No mortal has ever stepped foot inside though legends speak of strange godly treasures. Not even the palace servants are mortal, for they are living carvings formed from ice and snow.

His godly powers extends through the weather, animals, and the very land and water itself. No one else knows the frigid country like he does. Don't expect for him to come when you wish for his help or hospitality however. He will watch newcomers from afar, to decide if they are a threat or not. Threats will be dealt with through wolves and blowing ice. Even if they are not, he'd more likely send one of his followers to give aid rather than himself. Consider yourself lucky if he appears before you in peace.

Skolt is an anthro demi with ice encrusting his fur. His build is strong, for he fights bare handed when necessary, which is more often than he cares for. He wears only a blue loincloth and a large white fur cloak studded with silver snowflakes. He is often seen riding one of the many caribou that live on the palace grounds. It is these caribou that wear the legendary bells on their harnesses.
