Right from his birth it was determined that Tyr would inherit the position of his father one day and become the advisor of the King of Tanoras. Due to that he spent the first years of his life mostly with learning everything that he'd need in his future position - reading, horseback riding, sword combat, war strategy and politics only to name a few. When he was twenty-two his father felt that it was time for him to retire and so he made room for his only child. The following years where quite easy for Tyr as he was serving under King Harald who was known for his benevolence and generosity. When the old king died however things changed significantly. Harald left the world childless, his only possible successor was his adopted son Haakon whom he found as a new-born in the forest near to the castle and who turned out to be a half-troll. Although there was a lot of protest said half-troll came to power and ascended the throne two weeks after the death of his father. With him the "golden times" were over.

Since then Tyr's daily tasks have become much more difficult. Although he grew up with Haakon, later fought many battles at his side and although he always had a pretty close bond with him their opinions often clashed. While he always respected the new king and his deeds there are also a lot of things about Haakon and his rulership that Tyr can't accept at all, a fact that today makes him act against his own loyalty whenever he sees it as necessary. For example there is Haakon's fondness of torturing and otherwise maltreating prisoners. More than once already Tyr secretly helped some poor people to escape, knowing that this is a highly treacherous act that could cause his own severe punishment should it ever emerge. Besides, on occasion, he also takes away money from the treasury in order to use it for charity and here especially for the villages close to the castle whose habitants often have to suffer under Haakon's bad temper. With that Tyr always is caught in the middle, right between his oath of allegiance and his aspire for fairness but although it is a difficult life he'd never trade it for another. One reason is that he feels this task is his purpose in life, the other that he wants to ensure things in Haakon's kingdom don't completely take a turn to the worse.

Taka - A high-elf and the advisor of Haakon's arch rival. Some years ago Taka was held captive by the King of Tanoras but finally got rescued by Tyr even though killing the elf would have been the smarter option. Since then the two so different men meet on a secret place once per year...

Fenris - Bard and spy of the kingdom of Summerlin, constantly trying to strenghten the position of his masters. Over they years he and Tyr more than once came into conflict and neither of them would hesistate if he had the chance to get rid of the other one.
