Wandering the streets at a young age doesn't give you a whole lot of choices. No education. No future. Of course, she changed that. I'll never forget hearing her laugh for the first time. Infectious. I was insulted by her laughing at me but I felt better later when she took me under her wing. She trained me to do whatever she needed. I'd fight for her, no problem. She made me strong. I owe her everything. Sure, it wasn't the life I dreamed of when I was young but things work out the way they do for a reason, right? Some call the gift she gave me a curse but I disagree. I call the gift she gave me: freedom. These dark matter aren't just elements. If I sit very quietly, I swear, I can hear them speak to me. They are my life. They are my job. They are my friends. And she blessed me with them. Maleria gave me everything. When I didn't trust her, I got into some trouble with GraveStomper. Yet, she still bailed me out. Some people can't handle her power. I have to look over them, to make sure they're okay. A nerdy scientist friend of mine is an example of what goes wrong when you get too involved with Maleria. Some people just use their powers from Maleria for their own purposes. Others judge from afar, saying she is evil but she isn't pure evil. She's confused, I think. I see kindness in her eyes, when she takes some poor soul under her wings. That look was what made me follow her. Those glimpses of humanity are why I still obey her every whim. Her eyes mesmerize me. I've known her all my life. I've made plenty of mistakes in my life but she is the only good choice I've made. I will never stop obeying her. I will never betray her. I will never leave her. No matter what anyone says about her, I will not listen. I guess, it is because after all this time and all she has done for me... I love her.
