"Knowledge is something, worth a lot more than power or wealth. What's the point of having money, and not knowing how to spend it so you still can have a lot of money after some time? What's the point of having power, and not knowing how to use it? Useless, absolutely useless. But, knowledge is a different kind of both power and wealth. The power to know and understand everything, to know things others haven't even heard of, and out-smart other people. The soul wealth and satisfaction, it's like feeling what others think, and being in harmony with nature."

Chakari had grown with his brother in the country side, spending the first 15 or so years exploring the forest and going to the river with his brother. Everyday was almost the same, and they didn't mind it at all. Eating breakfast with their mother, then going to play with the other kids, coming back home for lunch, then going to the river with their dog. Chakari wasn't really close with the other children; he kept everything to himself. With himself, and their dog, Marry. He often talked to her, when he felt lonely. But like everything else, she wasn't forever. One day, Marry refused to get up from the bed, but just looked sadly at him. He sat beside her all day, hoping she will be better the next day. She never got up from her bed. Both Andore and his mother were sad, but nobody took it like little Chakari. He felt more alone then ever, and that's when he got really close with his brother. Then, it got hard. Some people started coming everyday to their house, and their mother talked with hours with them. Finally, the people bought the house, to build something in it's place. The family of three had to move to the city, with almost no money at all. Times were rough for them, but their mother got a job and bought a small flat. Time flew fast, the brothers studied for three years at school, then Andore got a job, and Chakari continued to study. He finished college with big results, found a well-paid job, and bought a flat for himself. They still often met with his mother and brother.
Chakari grew a huge love to books. He started buying atleast a book per week, reading it by the end of the following week. He had a big room filled with books, right next to his bedroom. His favourite things to read were fantazy books and science books about the galaxy. One day, Andore came to his flat, and started talking. His business was going bad. He needed money. Chakari didn't have a lot of spare money, but gave almost all of the cash he had. Andore still didn't look pleased; it was probably not enough. Then Andore begged him to sleep in the flat for the night. The brother was fine with that, unlocked the guest's room and let him in. The other day, Chakari woke up, made some coffee for himself, and went to get his newest book and read it. He almost dropped the cup of coffe, when he saw all the books he had were gone. The room was completely empty. He then ran to Andore to ask him if he had heard something last night. When he went into the guest room, it was empty, too, and the bed had been untouched. It didn't take long to understand that Andore, his own brother, had taken all the books, and left. He had probably sold them already. Chakari felt betrayed. He threw the coffee cup to the wall, breaking it in pieces. Even though the books were treasures for him, he would have sold most of them if Andore asked him. His relationship with his brother was the most important, but now it was lost, along with all the books Chakari loved, all the books who kept him company when he was alone. He now had nothing. The young man broke down on the floor, and hit it a couple of times with a fist, tears dropping from his eyes.
- Why... - he asked himself a lot of times. When he started thinking more into it, he realised Andore was always thirsty for money. Money, gold, material things. In his job, he sometimes left poor people without their last food, so he can have more money for himself. He was a businessman, the type that stole from people so the politicians can have more and more money. Chakari didn't want to see him ever again.
* * * *
The days flew, Chakari started filling his room with books again, but never called to see how his mother or brother were going. His days continued normally, and he moved on. One day, his phone rang. He was just getting out from the shower. Picking the phone, he heard the voice of his mother:
- Hello, Chakari?
- Yes? - he said with a sore throat.
- It's me, your mother. - her voice was weak. - Your brother, Andore...
- I don't want to hear it, mother. Now leave me alone, I need to go to work. - he stopped her.
- Wait! Please, Chakari, just listen. - she said. He didn't answer, so she continued. - He is in prison, and he will be closed in there for the rest of his life.
- Serves him right. - said Chakari.
- Please, do something, son... He was really sorry he stole all your books, but he had a lot of bills to pay, which grew bigger by the day. This time, it's different. He's in prison because they think he killed one of his clients, but this isn't true. He doesn't have any friends to help him because of the things he's done, and I can't do anything to help him... I'm sure that even through all this, in his heart, he is still yout brother.
- Look, mother... I will think about it, okay? I really need to go to work, sorry. Bye. - he said.
- Think about it, son. Bye. - she whispered in response.
...Chakari spent the night thinking about his brother. He had been kinda harsh to Andore, too. The next morning he got up early, dressed formal, and didn't make coffee, like he usually did. Outside was raining. Chakari spent a couple of minutes watching the raindrops fall on his window. Then, he went out to his car. He stared blankly at the prison doors, when he stopped his car infront. He talked with the director of the prison, asking to see his brother. At first, the director didn't want to let him in, but then agreed. Chakari was led by a guard around the prison walls. Then they reached Andore's cell. He was sitting on his bed, staring blankly on the floor. There was another prisoner, sleeping in his cell. The guard unlocked the door, and Chakari made a few steps towards Andore. Andore turned his head slightly, and his got wide with shock, and he gasped. It was obvious he hadn't expected this to be his brother. They were looking at each other, what it seemed like years. Then Andore jumped, hugging his brother, shaking.
- Brother.... you're here. - He cried like a little kid.
- Of course I am... we're brothers, aren't we?...
