Our relationship was a series of chaste kisses, reverent hand holding, and endless conversation when I wanted to live out a harlequin romance novel with a rock'n'roll riot for a climax and perfect hair. Despite my victory curls and the soundtrack within my head, there was no denying that I wound up with the wrong kind of Romeo.
