It was a cloudless night. High above in the black sky hung a full moon, so bright it paled the stars around. It hurt his eyes, his vision already blurred. The soundless voice of the moon echoed through his body. It wasn't a gentle touch. Far from it. Waves of pain crawled under his skin. A strange power tore at his body, twisted his flesh and broke his bones. Unbearable. Inexperienced to such torment he felt the desperate need to get away from it. So he started to crawl, his body no longer his but something completely different. He wanted to hide from the moonlight but not even the old trees of the wood that surrounded and should shelter him were able to ban the influence the magic held over him. He no longer was a being that thought. He was just feel. And lots of pain. A glance down to his limb that tried to push him further made his mind race in panic. What was he becoming?

Adrenalin flooded his nerve system and he was finally able to move in a more appropriate speed. Awkward still but steadily growing a more confident way of motion. And as the moon loosened his grip on him the pain slowly faded with leaving just a bad headache and this weird new body. He didn't really notice though as he was still in panic.

He broke through brushwood and left the wood behind. At first he didn't notice but when he did he was all the more shocked to suddenly be in a strange and unknown surrounding. He sniffled in hopes of catching a familiar scent. The only thing that spoke to his senses was food. If he wasn't so hungry he might have just turned around, back to where he came from. But what his body had undergone just now had left a burning hunger urging him to follow the trail. He barley noticed the houses he passed or how his surrounding grew to life around him. There was a sudden flash of light rushing towards him. His instincts told him should it connect with him it'd be lethal. He barely dodged. The world around him turned horribly loud all of a sudden. It was all screams and shocked faces. A feminine voice shrieking: 'Oh dear Lord! What is a naked, little boy doing out on the streets?!'
