She wandered in our lives one day; underneath the legs of a pitbull with a stupid grin. We threw her out but she was confident that we were her new family. I came home to a beautiful, small cat in the chair next to my sister. The most adorable thing I had seen besides my fat cat named buddy. We debated on her name; Nala or Miah. In the end she was given Miah and she settled in quickly. Not to soon after we realized she was the female spitting-image of our other cat that had recently disappeared. The same attitude and patterns that he did, she's do. He would watch tv with us and be very vocal about everything. Although she aggravated me, I loved her. She'd lay next to me curled into my body. I'd walk my dog and she would follow along behind us, in sync. A tragic day, Sept 25 '09, I was walking my dog, with my dad who was walking my sister's dog. I carried her across the road and as soon as I set her down she bolted across the road and almost cleared the truck. She had hit her head on his tire and turned to look at us. My dad was already running at her. It was too late, even though I begged my daddy to take her to the vet. I miss her to this day; and I will forever.
