Pan often spends his time reading and studying. A love which he discovered in his early teens, after having to read a book on Subetan mythology. He soon found himself immersed in the books, to the point where nothing else in the world seemed to matter. While other pets were getting into sports and playing with friends, Pan was in his favored chair studying up on something most of the others couldn't comprehend.
As of now, his bookshelves are often lined with thick novels depicting mythology and the occult, and littered with other subjects that piqued his interest. Pan tends to see himself as an expert on many things because of how often he reads. Though he detests being called a Jack of all trades, because of it's lesser known ending "Master or none". Pan believes it is an unnecessary limit. "Why not be the Master of everything?" he'll say, "There's no reason not to be! And if you can't do that then why not master most?!"
And though several of the family members resent the occasionally superior tone, for the most part, they have learned to either ignore it, or live with it. Of the family, his closest friend is Trille, because he's not nearly as loud as the rest, and Trille always seems to be more than happy to take Pan's advice.
