Jonatan is a 32-year-old burned out author living in a not-so-high maintenance apartment in Manhattan. He's originally from Germany but moved to pursue his dream once he turned eighteen and became an official adult.

He writes and illustrates books for the youngest by day and enters bars to find his next â€œloverâ€ by night. His â€œloversâ€ never last long as they usually stink up the place after about a week and he has to get rid of them; some he carefully savour and cut into delicate pieces to save for later consumption, others he leave to decompose six feet under in the playground few blocks away, hiding his tracks of his... misbehaviour.

The last boyfriend Jonatan had is long gone though still live and breathing, but in another state miles and miles away. They have not been in contact ever since the engagement was announced off in 2003 because of Jonatan's unusual habits and tendencies to fool around.

In 2005 Jonatan was declared HIV+.
