When Peron died, his family buried him deep within the ground with many sad farewells and tearful goodbyes. Twenty years later, Peron woke up inside his coffin and although any sane person would be terrified to find themselves inside a tomb, he was merely curious. For although Peron's body had died, indeed,his soul had only remained dormant until now. It took only a moment or two for Peron to realize he had died and even then he didn't feel afraid. Rather, he was in high spirits. He had always been playful in real life and after awakening once more, he found his demeanor hadn't changed a bit. His soul floated up through the coffin and ground, gathering a layer of flora and fauna. It gave the illusion of a grassy ghost.

As he floated around his tombstone, he spotted two women dressed in black. He knew he didn't have eyes anymore and yet he could somehow still see. And what fun it would be, he thought to himself, to frighten the ladies. With that thought in mind, he crouched down low against the grass, waiting for the women to approach him. As they neared, he found he could no longer contain himself and broke out laughing. The women screamed when they heard him and yelled once again when they saw him. Peron merely placed a finger to his lips to quiet them as he grinned. "Sh! You're likely to wake the dead!"

The Joke's On You
Once the greatest trickster alive, Peron has carried that tradition to his death. He doesn't know why his soul awakened but he isn't too concerned about it. After all, being dead was dreadfully boring. Though many might think he was a ghost, Peron doesn't consider himself as such. He's pretty sure that ghosts only like to haunt things and scare people. Although Peron has scared quite a few people, he hasn't meant to. Really, it's not his fault if they don't find his jokes funny. His favorite sport is to hang around the cemetery in where he was buried and speak from the graves of others. Usually, this entails a whole lot of screaming from the person he is talking to. Peron also enjoys laying in the grass and rising when someone strays too close. All for the sake of a laugh, of course.
