His voice echoed over the rocky desert below his cliff. Everything he ever loved turned on him, it wasn't his fault what he became. Perhaps Leetah could heal him, she could make him whole again, she did it for so many others after Winnowill touched them.
*Shuddering* -I can't imagine what Tyldak must have gone through in her servitude, I was tortured enough, and I am nowhere near as disfigured as he.- Thoughts of the times with Winnowill went through his mind, the way her soul touched his, it made him cringe. Nothing in the world had that effect on him except her, he was the greatest hunter from his tribe, he'd uncovered secrets thought lost to his people, and sadly, he had discovered her true intent with him as well.
Now he was a beast beyond compare, his soul tortured and black, a wraith within his body, and it was starting to show on the outside as well. Tendrils of black etched over his skin, it was eating him alive from the inside out. Soon enough he'd be just another of her disfigured and discarded play things, worse than Tyldak though. At least Tyldak had found love, he'd found a family, and he was free of Winnowill's bonds.
While Rayek is a prisoner to Winnowill's torture, he is also her keeper. She cannot be free without him releasing her, but that does not mean she cannot imprison him as well through his mind. When he reaches out with his soul, she is always there trying to capture him like he has captured her. So long as her soul does not capture his, she cannot unleash her dark power from it's prison, perhaps it is only a matter of time before she catches his soul searching for Leetah's, and if she succeeds, all hell will break loose once more.
-I will never be free of her, every time I close my eyes she is there, she is calling me, she will never let me go.- He had too much potential for her, but he wanted nothing to do with her. Why oh why couldn't Leetah look him in the eyes and say that she would help him? Why had she run off with that bastard dog and his tribe? Where was she now? Was it too late to find her and be made whole again? Rayek had so many questions, and it was time he left his desert dwelling to find her, and the answers to all his pains and fears and sorrows.
