Behind the Farce:

Slapstick may as well have been hatched on a stage. Even when he was little, he deeply enjoyed entertaining people with knock-knock jokes and happy little quips about anything he found funny at the moment. He always soared above the rest in drama classes and comedy competitions and adored the attention.

However, when he was in his late teens a trip with his friends into the Arctic Frost ended in tragedy after they became stuck in a blizzard. He went into a deep freeze, and came out completely frostbitten. Slapstick then became more sultry and depressed, refused to tell jokes, and more often than not, gave everyone the cold shoulder (no pun intended). It seemed like ages before he slowly crawled out of his depression, and even began to see the funny side of his icy appearance. Others noticed that his wit had become sharper, and the jokes (while funny for most) had become dark, and even cruel to some extent.

Above all, Slapstick now finds it important to live up to his name, and because of it, can almost always be found participating in some sort of prank or physical humor. Though most of his jokes go unappreciated by the rest of the group, he finds a lot of joy in watching them try to hide an inappropriate smile or two.
