Bio:
Growing up, Belle always felt that she was different from the other kids. While other girls her age used to talk about boys, fashion and parties, she would be mostly thinking about life and her purpose in it. She always felt that life had something great in store for her. When she was in school, she took great interest in her academics and graduated third in her class. Her interests were mostly tending towards Physics and Mathematics. Her free time was usually spent in the library browsing through journals and her room would be strewn with books on gravity and matter. When she got into college, she majored in Physics and in her final year, was approached by Dr. Lockhart (her professor) to be a his teaching aid. Little did she know, her life would never be the same.
A new beginning:
It was 6 months after being Dr. Lockhart's teaching aid when finding her a very intelligent and dedicated young woman, that he requested her to join his research group. Dr. Lockhart had been for years trying to find a way to travel back in time. He had written research papers on the relativity of time and had tried to manipulate time and space through many experiments, but to no avail. It was in one of these experiments, of a catastrophic nature, that activated her hidden powers.
After the Lab accident, which sent her in a coma for a month, she at first began to feel a bit strange. During the first few months, she would feel light headed and her thoughts would be a jumble. She sometimes couldn't remember where she was or what she was doing. It was on one chilly August afternoon when she finally found out that she could time travel. It all happened when she was sitting in her studio flat kitchen, drinking a cup of coffee, she was reminiscing about high school and how she fell out with her best friend Judy Meyer and wished she could have done things differently. When suddenly she found herself back in time in that same situation. It was, then, that she found out where her destiny lay.After finding about her new power, Belle was determined to find out how it all came about. With the help of Dr. Lockhart, she found out that the experiment carried out by the Doctor had obviously played around with her DNA and was only possible because her DNA make-up had an hereditary defect. So, she realised she had been truly different all along.
The road that lies ahead:
Belle, now having more control over her powers, tries to help people whenever she can and is training to see if there's any more to come out from her rare gift.
