Thunder crashed as the waves rolled high about the ships mast... A calming effect if I do say so... said a unknown voice, little do you know you've just came across a very bizzare being... not quite pirate, yet not a good guy... where am I? you quitely ask, Your in a world where Pirates rule the seas, and there's nothing left of mortal beings... the wind sings every so softly...
Planks litter the beach, A crashed vessle lays in pieces. All that remains stands high above the ground, the mighty crows nest still standing tall, the ropes dangling from the heights. A pity isnt it? She was the fastest around... something called out, the sound coming from every direction. The waves lapped at the shore, carring away what it could take with each movement. All the crew has been lost... take pity on whos left... the wind continued to call...
Stormy Seas-The Prelude
The ship swayed back in fourth in the pull of the crashing waves. 'All hands on deck!' called the captain as his crew scrambled to take hold of the sails. The storm had come suddenly and the passangers were hurried below decks to saftey, or at least what they though would be safe.
Hours past as the crew fought the waves. The sea was a treacherous place... and all aboard were about to find that out.
Raise the sails, Port to starboard side!' commanded the captain as he fought to keep ahold of the wheel, he knew if he made one wrong move the ship and her passangers would be lost to davy jones' locker forever... No he couldnt let that happen. His wife and newborn child were waiting for him at the other side, he had to get to them... if only he had a little more time...
Keeping Tides
Many a month had passed and the crew of the Wind Racer were never heard from...
The families of the loved ones aboard the lost maiden mourned the passing of her crew and cursed the sea, why had it taken them? Why hadn't they come when the ship first sailed? The answer? simple... They hadn't known that it was the last voyage of the breath-taking vessle.
The Captains wife learned to cope with her growing son who always asked questions, She didn't have the heart to tell him his father had been lost to the sea. She simply told him his father was on a speical top secret mission for the king. 'King of the seas...' she painfully added to herself.
Years passed and the boy grew, learning the ropes of the seas and how to sail-even if it was against his mothers wishes... He hadn't been the easiest person to raise and he was getting more uncontrolable by the months... Sooner or later he would leave her to be by herself forever...
