History: All her life she has been picked fun of, weather it be because of her glasses, the fact shes bi-polar, or her insatiable need for knowledge. She lost her mother at a young age and had no influence from her father, as he was always away on bisness. She didnt ever date, as she spent her free time (that wasnt used for her reading) hanging out with the boys. Thats how she met Tide, he was her best friend, and she was his. They would go out and climb trees or play "Masters of the wilderness" while running around the woods, or following the creeks near home.

"Tide, your silly!" an eight-year old Alex yelled from atop a fallen tree. She held a broad smile upon her small heart-shaped face, her green eyes glittering with laughter behind her glasses. Tide looked up with an elegantly raised, blond eyebrow, his own grey eyes lit. "Nu-Uh! I only did it because you didnt think I could" He said, holding out his hand to her, she would have smiled more if her cheeks permited it. Taking his hand she hopped off the tree, and landed on the ground next to him. "Tide follow me!" She half shouted letting go of his hand and running farther into the woods. Tide shruged and followed, with his long legs he cought up quickly, and ran past Alex."Tide! Wait! Your supos-ta follow me!" she shouted, her breathing causing her words to come out in pants. Tide just laughedand kept going untill he heard a loud thunk, then a louder wail. "Alex!" He yelled turrning around to find her sitting on the ground, clutching her face. He ran over to her and tried to move her small, shaking hands. "Alex, are you ok, what happened?" he asked, not quite sure she even heard him until she stopped sobbing and moved her hands. Tide gasped, maring Alex's pale face were two ragged cuts under her right eye, both bleeding. "Its alright Lex, well take you home and get you all fixed up." He said wiping the tears off her uninjured cheek.
