Her Fairytale

Cycelia died in 1869 and at the time had been living in France
It was time when science was being explored with vigor
And thus, her lifeless body was picked up by an aspiring young scientist
He pieced her back together and brought her back from the dead
Not dead yet not alive, the man was repulsed by his creation
Cycelia on the other hand had no problem with her state
In fact, she somewhat liked her new look since she had always been a lover of all things morbid
Finding herself abandoned by her creator, she seeked out a new living for herself
Before she had died she was a baker's apprentice so she decided to continue down that pathShe interviewed at several boulangeries but was declined to all due to her body's tendency to unravel at the worst of times
Finally, she found herself a job, working for a sweet blind old widow who did not mind her apprentice's eccentric tendencies
A few years blissfully passed as Cycelia mastered the art of baking
However, it was at the peak of the shop's success that the widow peacefully passed away
Cycelia then inherited the shop since the widow never had any children and became owner of the small pâtisserie
She renamed the shop to Fleur de Lys in honor of the widow who had taken her in and taught her all that she knew
With hard work and a unique touch; she transformed the little bakery into a Gothic themed pâtisserie
The shop became vastly well known for its design and for the delicious delicacies that Cycelia made
Thus, Cycelia completed her dream of becoming a maître pâtissier and owning her very own pâtisserie shop
