Have you ever had a dream? One that no matter what you tried to do, you just couldn't reach it? That's what I go through every day of my life. But don't go feeling sorry for me; the last thing I need is pity. I know I'll eventually reach my goal, and probably through some unexpected way too.

That's the life of a gypsy for you. Always on the move, living a life full of unexpected twists and turns. It's a happy life, but at the same time it can be rough. Though I think everyone goes through a rough spot at some point in time, even if that point in time is longer than others. However I've always kept the motto of "keep moving forward," and it's gotten me out of most of my problems. Not all of them, but most.

My main problem now is the impenetrable wall I've currently run into. It goes by the name of Lord Diamond, and well suited for that name too. His demeanor is cold, but his status reminds me of how glitzy he can be. His affinity for battle and oppressive attitude make him a terrifying, but well respected man. However, it's not his power over my people that is causing me this grief; it's his power over my heart.

Is it wrong to love someone society says is out of your league? People say it is. But as I've spent more time with Diamond, most of it on the run mind you, I've seen cracks begin to form in his icy exterior, and my heart races with the thought of getting through to his heart. I know it's his mistress that keeps him from acting how he wishes to, so I'll wait.

I'll wait until the end of time, outside his wall of ice, his prison. Then maybe, just maybe...

An Interesting Woman

Full name: Jacquo Kalodoma. She's also lovingly referred to as Jacq by her troupe.
Born on August 12, 1472 in medieval Paris.

Jacquo works as a performer on the streets of Paris. Her main focus is on fortunetelling, which is easy for her because of how charismatic she is; while at other times she is found doing dances or acrobatics with the rest of her troupe. Although it doesn't pay much, it does get food on the table, which is all they could hope for. Her low class life doesn't get her down, and she spends most of her time living it to the fullest.

At times Jacquo will feel a little bit sorry for her sad lot in life, wishing she could provide better for her family. This sometimes causes her to act recklessly, and once resulted in a member of her troupe being imprisoned and tortured for a few months. Although Jacquo has yet to fully move on from that event, it doesn't stop her from continuing with her risky lifestyle.

To Jacquo, her troupe is family. After losing her parents during a violent persecution of gypsies and other nomadic folk, Jacquo holds a fierce pride in her heritage and displays a hostile attitude towards the authorities of Paris. However, despite the fact her mother and father have been gone for over ten years, Jacquo's memory of them is still as vivid as ever. She also retains a few items as mementos; her mothers earrings and necklace, and a keepsake box hand carved by her father. According to the leader of her troupe, Jacquo bears a strong resemblance to her mother when she's wearing the jewelry.
