Lok

Lok was born into a litter of kittens in a small home. When he was very young, he was taken from his mother and sold to a young family with a little girl. Lok was her Luminaire present. For a few months, he had a happy home with this family, but the little girl quickly got bored with him and one day, she locked him outside so that he would stop bothering her to play.

When the sun set, Lok became scared and wandered off to find shelter for the night, but the neighbor's dog chased him off and he ended up far from the home he'd known. He ended up sleeping in the park beneath some bushes. The next day, the park was filled with people, and Lok was still afraid so he stayed in his safe spot. After a few days, he was too hungry to stay put, so he cautiously wandered out and someone was kind enough to give the little kitten some food.

He spent every day after that in the park. Some people were mean and threw rocks or pulled his tail, others were nice and fed him or even played with him for a bit. But eventually everyone went home each evening and Lok was left by himself. He found that he had a humanoid form, but everyone treated him better as a kitten, so he stayed in that form for the most part.

After a few more months of living in the park, he was found by a man named Lero. This person was one of the nice ones and after he fed Lok, the kitten changed to a young teenaged boy, tentatively revealing his other form to this man. Lero was surprised, but he took the boy to get more to eat before bringing him home. Lok was still afraid, but the man seemed nice.

Lero treated him well, like a little brother or a child of his own. Lok didn't speak for a long time, even with the other treating him so nicely. He was appreciative and loved the man for being so kind to him and eventually was able to tell him so, verbally. He now lives in Lero's spare room and has been taught how to speak properly, how to take care of himself, and how to be a little less skittish around others.

Attire: He as an affinity for stripes, so he has a lot of striped shirts. Lok's most worn outfit is a long-sleeved black and gray striped shirt, dark jeans, and his little darkmatter montre slippers. He loves to walk around in his pajama pants a lot of the time too. And he ALWAYS carries around one of his dark matter plushies.
