Rakuen is a servant of Lady Michiru, who is the highest level angel of light.
As an angel of death he guides the strongest of souls to her.
The souls of those worthy to rise again as angels to protect this world in their afterlife as well.
He is very rarely seen with his scythe though he has the ability to materialize it out of thin air.
He generally does not fight at all as he has the ability to fade into the spirit realm and become untouchable.
As he walks, at all times he can see the spirits of the dead around him. .. the souls bound to the human world.
He often seems to be emotionless and withdrawn, a trait one must certainly have given his path as an angel.
He is often seen with Takao, a guardian angel who does the fighting for him should there be a reason to.
