Sixth born kit of the forty-seventh generation; Amethyst is neither considered special nor important in her place among the Celestials. Still in training to earn the last three of her tails and become a bonafide Celestial Fox she was learning under the care of Inari's youngest messenger fox Hasu-Sei; or Ren as he is addressed by Amethyst.

Amethyst was originally furious when Ren left to dwell in the lower world without any reason - feeling both betrayed and lonely - however her animosity towards him has dwindled to nearly nothing as she follows in his steps.

Being still only a six-tailed, she has a tendency to be very cautious when on her own as she had heard many stories of humans managing to outsmart a fox and lead to their demise. Her habits change once she is reunited with Ren and introduced to Kyouu - though she is devastated to learn the nine-tails of Ren have been harshly limited to a mere two.

Amethyst usually takes on a human form and will play harmless pranks on random people but because she's actually quite an amateur at transforming she can only hold human form for 30 minutes before her fox-like features shine through. She has an intense love of pulling tricks on Kyouu above all and while she still can't grasp the appeal of the lower world she has no intentions of returning to her home without Ren.
