I began my life as what you would call a "common" anyu. At the time I did not mind being a commoner, I was ignorant, living in my own little world. Those content yet meaningless days were short lived. I lived in the Omen Islands. Soon before war broke out I was changed by Merana into a Hydrus being. Unlike my now sister La Lune, I despised the transformation. I can still remember the ingredients I saw her use in the potion that changed me. A gourd, a simple and common ingredient, bark of birch, a fossil she said, to promote long life, a rather aggressive ingredient in this spell...finally butterfly wings were added, the magic of chaos she told me. She released me back into the islands I once inhabited as a free simple spirit. I was now a creature many feared. My friends ran from me, strangers avoided me. I took to the ocean, living in the depths away from society, disgusted by myself. I became bitter.Little did anyone else know a war was going on underneath the sea even before the Omen islands disaster. A great battle between the Hydrus pets that served Merana, and those that resented the transformation she had forced upon us. I obtained many scars in these fights, few knew of the battles, the so-called sea goddess covered the evidence of this atrocity up herself.My life seemed to go on this way for a long time. The war of pirates and islanders had raged on the lands above me and was long over before my luck changed.

Having newly gained access to the islands Loba came, La Lune was swimming in the ocean where she found me, and brought me back to my soon to be master telling me she could help me. This coming from another Hydrus pet...I was taken aback, but I was curious.

Loba took me in, telling me she would change my ways, and that she had been looking for another pet to add to her small family. I took a liking to the idea despite the fact I disliked living beneath others. On the very same day she said she would give me a new form, any one that I chose, on the provision that I reached a certain level at training school and read 100 books, ignorance she said, was a weakness one should try to avoid. The last condition was that should war ever ravage the lands of Subeta again I must be prepared to defend the family I was now a part of. I looked to the face of the devonti I now consider my sister, and the face of my master, how could I say no?I agreed to her terms. I have worked to get all my levels up to 25, I made the transformation on the 3rd of September 2010. I continue to train and increase my intelligence. I have now surpassed this and strive to become stronger every day.

I am finally the bloodred anyu I yearned to be, no longer an ignorant commoner, or a bitter Hydrus pet. I have even been recognised for my participation in the undersea wars, I was given compensation in the form of being knighted and awarded a medal as reparation for the time under the ocean I lived through.I didn't ask for the recognition, but Loba will do as she pleases where she sees fit.We're soon leaving the Omen islands, my sister and Loba believe the change will be good for me, though the destination of our move is still undecided...
