United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (or just England)
Age: 23

Feudal Age: After the collapse of Rome, England and the rest of Europe was thrown into the dark ages, also known as the Feudal Age. There the basic system of government revolved around the king and his various vassals. The basic fighting at the time was done between Knights, but Arthur's men helped change the strategy of battle forever with the development of the English longbow, which could pierce the heavy armour of a knight, and allowed normal citizens to participate in battle. This ingenious invention also provided a larger number of troops for Arthur's army, allowing the scale of a normal army to rise. One of the most well known victories Arthur claimed was during his 100 battle against his brother, France, over territory disputes. Arthur's highly outnumbered troops, with his king and all, were able to overcome a huge force from France, known as the Battle of Agincourt.
Renaissance While most of the Renaissance is mostly thought to centralize around Arthur's Southern neighbor, Italy, Arthur had his own experience of the Renaissance along with the rest of northern Europe. He still believed in a higher Church power, but took the normal view of the Catholic church and began to question it as well. He and his citizens believed that one should be able to have as much power as a priest when it came to the church, and wanted to believe in a life that wasn't just about getting into heaven. (Humanism) He also became concerned about the education of his country, and regarded Universities as centers of pedantic, monkish and scholastic learning. Instead of just learning theology, medicine and law were added to subjects in the schools.
