The suite my parents had arranged and paid for was beautiful. Almost as beautiful as the countless blushing brides I'm sure it has seen over the years. My finger tips finally found the last pin before pulling it out to free my rose red tresses that cascaded around my shoulders. "The room is beautiful, isn't it?" I was nervous about consumating our union together. I'd hoped to squeeze another night out of him but I wasn't so lucky.

I could see from the mirror him turn his attention toward where I sat in front of the vanity and slowly approach. "Did your family give us any money to start our lives together?" His finger tips brushed againsted my shoulders before his palms caressed them. "It would be useful to have to furnish that house on the lakefront we spoke about."

I watched a thin brow arch high on my forehead in the mirror. "Oh, yes, of course they did." A soft giggle emitting passed my lips. A faint blush on my cheeks. "My grandparents as well as my uncles did as well. I put the evelopes in the room safe." I explained. "Everything will be perfect. Just the way we want it." I leaned my head back to smile up at him.

"Good." He'd lowered his voice. "Why don't you get more comfortable." He leaned forward and his lips caressed my neck. "The bed looks so large and lonely..." He'd given me a slight pull.

I could feel the ball of nervousness explode in me like a firework on new years. "Of course darling, I'm almost finished, just give me a few more minutes." As I finished the sentence I slid to my feet and pecked him on the lips, hoping it would buy me a few more moments.

"I don't mind you this way Darling..." He'd hugged my frame against his own larger frame.

I could hear the soft 'eep' escape my lips followed by a nervous chuckle. "D-Darling...! I'll be done in just a moment." My hands tried to put a small amount of space between us but also so I could get a better look at his face.

He sighed. "Honey, we need to consumate the union don't we?" Though he seemed to of noticed how nervous I was, a sigh followed, and he turned me loose and walked awayed and began looking for something in his coat pocket.

"O-Of course we do, and we will. I just want.. to be perfect for you." I tried to explain, I was stumbling over my words like a child. I felt like such a fool. Yet I watched in the mirror as he started to approach again.

"Are you ready yet honey?"

"Almost darling." I smiled at him in the mirror and watched as he brought a hand up. I saw something shimmer in his hand but soon my look turned to one of horror as he dug a blade deep into my neck and jerked his hand to the side. The crimson liquid began to gush from the wound and I stumbled away from him, knocking a lamp over on my way back. "W-Why?" I would have been surprised at the raspy sound my voice made under normal circumstances.

"Sorry Darling," his lips turned up into a smirk. "but you see I need this money for me. I'm sure you understand." He chuckled softly. "Though I suppose there's no harm in telling you, not as if you'll be able to utter a word to anyone else where you're going." He remained so calm and collected even as I withered in pain and fell backward onto the bed. "You see, I have just a small addiction to gambling. So I constructed this ruse to fool you and your parents, and it worked flawlessly."

It was then that the suite door flew open and entered a strange though handsome gentleman. "H-Help... me..." I pleaded, tears streaming down my face.

Joshua turned to look at the gentleman to whom I'd spoken too then back to me. "He isn't going to help you darling." Then back to the gentleman. "You could have simply knocked... I would have unlocked the door." But he ignored Joshua and walked toward me as I slid onto my knees.

"You've damaged her." I wasn't sure but he sounded almost upset about this. "You poor thing." I glanced down to the hand he'd extended to me. "Don't worry. I can save you. You don't have to die here tonight."

001 Mabelle is the pampered (and utterly spoiled) pet to a powerful necromancer. When her vessels are becoming old or worn out she is simply transferred to a new body and then the process begins all over again.

002 Though she has no abilities of her own Mabelle is not helpless; she has been trained in close range combat. When she is placed in an immortals body she keeps some of their power though she cannot completely harness it until she has adjusted and mastered their abilities whatever they may be.

003 Mabelle's natural hair color is a dark ruby red however because this color is very uncommon her master has to 'settle' for vessels with black hair. Her red eyes are an effect of the necromancy keeping her alive.
