Lots of people fool themselves into thinking they'll never fall in love. Doesn't really matter what leads them to think that way, sometimes it's just the way they are, or other times its because they played witness to it all going wrong for someone else. No matter their circumstances or reasoning, they tell themselves, "That won't happen to me," "I'm smarter than that, I won't make the same mistakes," or quite simply sometimes, "I don't need love and romance."
Many people live quite happily without ever falling in love. Some of them just don't believe in it as a real emotion, others quite simply don't feel it or don't want it. Those people are happy just the way they are.
Other people though, oh they get one little taste of it. It brushes along their lips like the whisps of fine cuisine on the night breeze - then they need more.
