Physiology
Swoobat is a primarily turquoise, batlike Pokemon. Its pointed ears, with lighter-colored insides, are attached and thus resemble the triangular shape of a metronome. The large pink snouts of Swoobat sport a single, heart-shaped nostril, and the mouth is wide and toothed. A mane of white fur covers its neck and body. It black, batlike wings have 'thumbs', and its lower limbs are also black-colored. The lowermost segment of its body is blue, and its bare, pink, ratlike tail has prongs at the tip that may be described to form a vague heart shape.

Special abilities
It can shoot ultrasonic sound waves from its nostrils. It can also release waves powerful enough to destroy boulders. During courtship, a male Swoobat uses these sound waves on itself, which pleases it and makes it happy.

Behavior
Swoobat enjoy showering each other with their ultrasonic waves.
