Melfina is my name and I am a demon. I have been searching for a long time, for the perfect soul. Many wonder why. As humans live by eating meat and vegetable, I survive by eating human souls. Just like any food, souls can taste good or bad. I have eaten countless of them but none had the taste of heaven. That is why, my journey continues.

One day, a young boy named Ciel Phantomhive came to me for help. He had bruises all over his body but his gaze was firm. He had the most honest yet piercing blue eyes I have ever seen. His determination to fulfill his wish and mission gave me chills. I knew, I just knew that at long last I have found it, the perfect soul. He said that if I helped him, he will give me his soul in return. Of course, I accepted the deal.

From that day on, he was my "master" and I served him with whatever I could in my human form as Sebastian Michaelis, a name he gave me. I will continue to serve him until he accomplishes his mission and then finally, I will have the most unforgettable meal of my life...
