A construct of magic and flesh made by an ancient civilization on Atebus long, long ago. An ambush from an unknown(?) attacker left Syntassien near-death and practically powerless. He has spent the time since under his 'brother', Sybylance's care; though being the rebellious, free spirit he is, Syntassien views it more as imprisonment. He is always escaping their manor in Veta and fleeing to various corners of the globe, travelling swiftly on his two pairs of wings.
Syntassien is believed to have been made from moonlight and fertility magic. He has regained some of his powers-- his shape-shifting and healing factor, most notably-- but he is still incredibly fragile in comparison to his former self. He becomes fatigued easily and his albino complexion leaves him unable to go out in direct sunlight.
