It's a popular misconception in today's society to think that Cupid flies around shooting innocents with his magical, love generating arrows. Yes, this was Cupid's job before, but he hasn't been responsible for that for hundreds of years - thousands, even. Didn't you know? Cupid is, and has been for who knows how long, off gallivanting with his lovely wife Psyche. That cute little naked baby you see plastered all over every department, grocery, and drug store starting January 2nd of every year? Yea, that's me.

Who better than to take up the job than Cupid's own son? Obviously this isn't the sort of thing you just let anyone do. They named me Yves, "archer" in the language of love. I take my responsibilities seriously - even if no one knows it's me doing them. Sure, I'll let Pops take the credit. Who cares what mortals think, amiright? This 2568-year-old has better things to worry about. Like when Mom catches me in some of my... less that finest moments. Hah, you should've seen her face when she found out it was me that made some girl fall in love and marry the Eiffel Tower. Oh man, Mom's face was so red, I could've slapped a heart on her cheek and passed her off as a Valentine's Day card. Heh... that little episode got my bow and arrows taken away for 500 years. Can you believe it? Now I have to go around using this cheap blowgun and love darts to get people to fall in love. Do you have any idea what this is doing to my image? It's tanking it, that's what. I don't know why, but stabbing unsuspecting people with magical arrows that force them to fall in love is so much more romantic than blowing love darts at people. So uncool.
