ROUND ONE

Skill: Zombie dancing.

Volunteered for the Subeta games. Turns up fresh from a zombie party, and the first round is a themed costume contest to show off a skill- his being the zombie shuffle. Luckily, the judge doesn't seem to notice the blood is actually real, and puts him through. Yaay.

Storified this would be something along the lines of 'You have one day before you leave for the arena. Find one item to take with you into the arena that will help you win The Games.'

As I wander around Shadowglen, I ponder my situation. I'm going into the Subeta Games as a knee-high, unliving plushie, against eighteen humans and another zombie; how can a tiny, rotting plushie like me overcome six-foot giants with weapons the size of me?! Obviously, a fight is not an option. I'm going to need to catch my victims by surprise, with a weapon small enough for me to handle but big enough to do serious damage before they get hold of me. Of course, my size does have it's advantages; I'm fast, light, and easily hidden.

There's also the problem of my diet. Being one of the unliving means I don't eat the kind of things other tributes will be snacking on in the arena.

just doesn't do it. To survive, I will need to eat the other tributes; more specifically, their brains. I realise I'm not alone on this one, because of course, there's two tributes from each district, and so to survive, I have formed an alliance with Daymare. We have a joint plan for this round, but as Daymare hasn't turned up with their entry yet, I'll not spoil the surprise.

I find myself wandering towards the Zombie Den. Admittedly, I do spend a lot of time looking through this shop, so it's probably not just by chance that I happened to come this way. I greet Skitters with enthusiasm; that guy is awesome. I decide to find my item here, and maybe my sP will go towards him and Fantine getting their dream of an 'APARTMENT IN THE SKU-AYE', as he puts it.

There's plenty of choice here, I must admit. I consider

, or maybe to frighten the tributes so they don't react fast enough, but I dismiss the thought as they doesn't solve the problem of food. Well, you can't expect me to get at their brains with these floppy arms!

I head towards the back of the shop, where the more dangerous items are kept. I notice Skitters shuffle up beside me, keeping a close eye on me as I examine

. "NYEHH... THAT NO GOOD." Skitters carefully removes the item from me before it tears through my fabric hands. "YOU CONSIDER ? NO? WHY, IT GOOD, IT IS, REALLY. GO ON."
I shake my head. "Thanks Skitters, but what I really need is something I can-"
"I GET IT, I GET IT. HERE, YOU CAN HAS THIS. IT USEFUL." Skitters hands me:

I grin, my sewn mouth pulling at its seams, skewing my face considerably. "Skitters, I think that's just about perfect. You're a genius! Thank you!" Surprisingly, he pulls me into an uncomfortable one-armed hug and mutters "MAY BRAINS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOUR, OR SOMETHING. YESS, YOU DO GOOD, LITTLE ZOMBIE FWEND." He nods proudly, a tear in his bloodshot eye as he shoos me out of the shop.

I skip out of the shop with glee, partly because he called me his 'fwend' (OMG SDHGSDKGNF WOW I'M SKITTERS FRIEND!?), but mostly because I have a new-found hope of actually getting through this.

Cradling my new toy in my arms, I search for Daymare to talk about my success on finding a suitable item. Unfortunately, my fellow tribute doesn't seem to be at home, but as I peer through the rotten door, I notice what must be their item on the table, new and looking just perfect for the job we discussed.

I form a plan in my head as I wander on home. The skeletal trees surrounding the Pumpkin Patch offer inspiration, as well as some shelter from the icy wind. I clamber up the trunk of my favourite, and sitting in the broken limbs of the tree, an idea hits me. There's bound to be some sort of shelter in the arena, and whatever it is, I'm fairly confident about climbing it. I lie sideways across the branch; from the ground, my grey-green cloth must be near invisible against the dull bark. I could hide up high, travel by treetop if I have to, and when I find a tribute, they won't even see me coming. I imagine myself dropping to their shoulders; it'd be a fast and effective way to dispose of other tributes while finding food at the same time!

I leap silently from my hiding place, landing fearlessly on an imaginary foe. Maybe being small isn't such a disadvantage after all...

Round 4 - Quickly... Hide!!
Task: Pick an area out of the list, and send it to me in an sMail. The goal is to hide in a spot without anyone else choosing it! You may hide anywhere, it doesn't matter what district you're from! This MUST be done by Saturday, May 26th.On the 26th, I will inform everyone of who hid in what area. If two or more people hide in the same spot, they will all fight to the death (in a HA competition!)

May the odds ever be in your favor.Task: If you are listed in a place with someone else, you must create a HA in a generator using makeup to blend in with your surroundings. You may NOT use invisible ink. It must be apparent that you are human (or zombie). If you hid in a spot alone, you are safe... for this round. Ummm im gonna make this more of a story cause of the Delphi beach stuff hes enjoying. So, after his re-stuffing and repairs from his death in the arena, he decides a cruise is just what he needs to unwind. Cue seeing the captain, deciding he doesn't like him, thinks Skitters would be a better captain, chases captain with an inflatable hammer: thanks Shalashaska for the cute art!

and just generally causes trouble, cause the plot isn't even done yet, talk about that later ♥️
