Announcer: "The fans are just wild here tonight folks as these two pokemon go head to head in a fierce battle!"

"Dodge Calida!"

Announcer: "Here it comes folks, the final blow! One more hit and this pokemon battle is over!"

"Calida use Fire Fang!"

Announcer: "Wow! That's it, a magnificent performance here tonight! A tough battle but there can only be one winner! Tonight's winner is Trainer 709 Miki and her Arcanine Calida! Miki has just become the new league champion! Congratulations!"

The crowd cheers as Miki and Calida make their way out of the stadium. Miki's first stop after a battle was always to the center to heal her hard working pokemon. Calida had been Miki's friend since she was a little girl starting her pokemon journey. Miki found Calida as a Growlithe at about level 5 in the mountains near her home. She was out for a walk looking for interesting pokemon to fill her pokedex when a little Growlithe popped out from behind a pillar of rocks and started growling at her. She refused to battle the small pokemon because it seemed to have an injury on its leg and was just scared. Miki pulled out some berries she had in her bag and coaxed the scared little Growlithe over to her. The Growlithe became curious of Miki and came over to her to sniff and nibble on the sweet berries that she had in her hand. After soothing the little Growlithe for some time she was able to pick her up and carry her back to her village. The first place she took her was to the pokemon center and the Growlithe was better in no time. After that Miki was going to let the little pokemon go free but the Growlithe would not leave her. Miki decided then that this little pokemon would now be her partner on her journey and offered her a pokeball to make it official. The Growlithe accepted the pokeball and Miki gave her the name Calida. Calida in greek means "most beautiful, heated, and warmth". This seemed perfect for her new partner, they started their journey and it wasn't long before Calida became a strong, loving and fierce protector of Miki.

Calida grew and flourished alongside her partner Miki. When the time came Miki got Calida a fire stone so that she could become even more powerful and full of strength. Calida transformed into a beautiful Arcanine who was tough but also full of grace and beauty. They conquered battle after battle, trainer after trainer, and gym after gym. Their badge count grew and grew until finally Miki could go to battle against the elite 4 and then the champion of the region. Miki with Calida by her side did this with only slight struggle and only to win in the end and become champion. Miki then lived out her days fighting trainers from all over her region and other regions. She was happy to give them the same chance she had and her partner was only too happy to stand by her side until a trainer great enough was able to beat them. Maybe one day someone will but chances are no-one would be able to beat Miki and her powerful Arcanine Calida.
