Taxes the Darkmatter Devonti

Hade has a favorite day of the year. It's not Christmas, or his birthday, or any holiday that requires being drunk to enjoy it. None of those things fit the bill, his one and only favorite day of the year is April 15. April 15: the day your taxes are due.He says 'your' because he's already finished his a month in advance, and has been eagerly staring at his favorite calendar - fat-headed kittens in tea cups - since he filed them away. Tax day brings him the most joy in life for a very simple reason. He loves his job.
Loves it. He would marry it if he could, and once he's done dissecting various laws on the subject, he just might. Hade is a tax man. Or, should we say, The Tax Man. He's won dozens of awards for his outstanding work, and has forcibly removed millions of dollars of possessions and cash from the unfortunate few he collects from. When April 15 crawls by and everyone is unsuspectingly asleep in their beds, he plans. And plots. And schemes. One week exactly passes, and his job begins. Hade takes his battered flannel briefcase and walks out into society, and rain or shine, begins to scare the living hell out of debtors.
Hade isn't exactly a normal tax man. With his convenient ability to control the souls of those passed on, dear old Uncle Ken or Aunt Margie quickly becomes a tool used to intimidate people who think they can get away with not paying the government for, say, breathing air. Hade is never really quite clued in on the specifics of why the person owes what they owe - usually exceedingly large sums, but he doesn't discriminate when it comes to bills - but he's happy to do his job whatever the circumstance.
His favorite part is ringing the doorbell. The relaxed look on the debtor's face is incredibly endearing to him, because he knows they are completely screwed and have no right having an expression that is not 'oh shit' or 'why are you tying me to a chair is this legal'. The process is exceedingly cordial and business like, and after the debtor has been pleasantly threatened with souls that have long since passed on, intimidated to the point of sobbing hysterics, and robbed of all his or her earthly belongings, Hade goes back home and has a lovely cup of Earl Grey.
He's just doing his job. And he will find you if you haven't been doing yours - because he's the tax man; after all, you're working for no one but him.
