I'm Flying in Space with a MeteoriteI have always wanted to be an astronaut. I used to spend hours looking at the stars through my telescope. My parents would say all sorts of things to try and discourage me. Space is a dangerous place, they would say. Being an astronaut isn't a real job, or you should be a lawyer or a teacher. Of course I didn't listen to them. One day they were really getting on my nerves so I ran away. Now I'm flying through space in my little self-constructed rocket ship watching old star trek episodes and charting the stars. I've been gone for 3 weeks yet somehow I still have a full supply of food, water, and oxygen. I wonder if one of the magical beings of subeta blessed my ship. I recently learned how to play the guitar and I am now learning some of The Beatles's music. I am gazing out at the stars when something shoots past.Spock what was that?! I shout before realizing I'm alone.
Then out of nowhere a little rock flies in front of my cockpit window.
Were you talking to me? the little rock asks happily.
No. I was talking to myself, I say sheepishly
Oh. Ok, the rock says sadly starting to fly off
Wait! What's your name?
I'm Rockie the Meteo!
I'm Yosi the Ruffie. Do you want to be friends?
I would love to be friends!!
And that's how I became friends with a meteor. We go everywhere together. I even found a way so we could watch star trek together. Rockie also shared her favorite band, Starship. Tomorrow we set off into, Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the star-ship USS Enterruff and It's life time mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no Ruffie has gone before. And I really need to cut back on the star trek.
