Faim is not evil.

He is simply an animal who hungers for flesh, who is in a constant state of starvation. He does not take joy in killing, he only feels relief at being able to satiate his hunger for a few hours until the feeling returns.

He cannot control his urges, which is why his victims are always found as a bloody mess, torn apart in sheer desperation as he tries to fill his empty stomach.

Faim did not become what he is, he was created as a monster.

Those few fortunate people who have come across Faim and not been ripped to shreds have described him as being the size of a large tiger, but with a leaner build. They say that his ribs protrude from his sides, and his legs look like bones covered in fur of absolute black. His head is far too large for his starved body and seems to weigh down the rest of him. When he begins to growls, his mouth pulls back to reveal four huge canines and rows of sharp teeth.

Those who have seen him and lived say that they were sure they were frozen in complete terror at the sight of him, sure that they were about to die a gruesome, painful death. Then they would see a flash of white in the corner of their eyes, and Faim would linger for a moment with obvious hunger in his eyes before slinking away.

They all knew that they had been saved, and yet the white figure caused them as much, maybe even more terror than Faim did.
