Basic idea for him:

One of the middle children in his family but the most....'special' one being the only octopus that have born with his tentacles around his head while around his lower region the head of an octopus have developed. For being different he was constantly bullied by the other kids in their society and was joked that his father left them because of him, only terrible lies his mother repeated to him. During his teen years, Taitus ventured away finding a secret place where to hang out in peace gradually he spent more and more time around that secluded area, a rumor starting to spread around that he had been taken as a pupil or have been brainwashed by the 'witch' that lived nearby, only terrible rumors that Taitus really didn't cared much about. One normal day he was about to go outside to hunt for food but he was surprised by some human researchers that had found his nest he didn't dared to go outside and just remained there, the humans where amazed by the size of that specific type of octopus initially only came daily to see him but everything changed when Taitus in a moment of carelessness showed himself to them, in the next days he was captured by the scientist and brought up to the ship but Taitus could manage to escape before they reached their intended destination. Now in strange waters and a new environment he roams the seas finding his way home, though taking his time since he have learned that the world have so much to offer.
