A being born of shadow
into a realm of newsprint and charcoal.
Rooted in logic, precision and matters spoken in hushed voices,
wandering, lonely, among written words and dulled undertones.
They fell into a mirror and found themselves in color
blindingly dark against hues they could not name.
Suddenly logic held no sway
Precision was set aside for wildness
and the voices laughed with sparkling rainbows.
Overwhelmed, they stood within the spectrum and wondered,
Could this be the cure to my lonely heart?
And then came the wild, the laughter, the rampant resistance of logic
a chaotic kaleidoscope of purity.
It only took a moment
a word, a smile.
They fell in love and wove together into a harmony,
the laughter and the logic and the love,
and the colors shimmered and whispered, words warm and bright,
"Darling, lets drown into eternity."
