Minho had the vague sense that somebody was glaring at him as he meandered about his bedroom, collecting the last few things that needed to be packed before his early flight the next morning. With a frown plastered firmly in place, he looked over his shoulder to find his younger sister sitting down at the small table in front of his television, shaking a bottle of pale pink nail polish. She was staring sullenly at him as she propped a foot on the edge of his table and unscrewed the cap to the small bottle.
"It just isn't fair." Her calm tone sounded forced. A small smirk slid into place the moment Minho realized that she was trying her very hardest to suppress the desire to throw a tantrum. "You get to go to another country, by yourself. While I'm stuck here with my stupid uniform and our loving parents to be twice as overbearing while you're out having fun." Minho snorted in response before turning back to continue packing. "I hope you know that I'll be taking your room. It's the very least you can do to ease my suffering." The smell of nail polish assaulted his nose, assuring him that she had turned her attention to her unpainted toenails instead of glaring a hole into the back of his head. Unfortunately, he had preferred the jealous gaze over the potential migraine Nari's nail polish seemed likely to give.
"Whatever, you can have it. I'll have my own place in Japan." He could almost hear his small sibling's head jerk back in his direction as anger and indignation threatened to break through her carefully built facade of calmness.
"It's like you actually want me to hate you."
Born in the Public of Korea, he now attends a university in Japan. He's rarely had any trouble in getting what he wants; as a result of this, he tires of things rather quickly. A dual personality keeps him just emotionally distant enough to avoid most meaningful relationships. Somehow his best friend, Jaejin and family have managed to carve out a small space in his heart solely for themselves.
