Hanabira was born in Nara in a year when the blooming Sakura were especially beautiful.
As her birthday was in mid April, her parents named her Hanabira after the flurry of flower petals falling from the cherry trees on the day she arrived into the world.
Being a small girl of only 11 years old, her dream is to become as beautiful as the legendary Geisha of Kyoto.

Hanabira's family lives at a Shinto temple and deer are holy to them.
Coming across a forest goddess when she was 7 years old, Hanabira has been blessed with the ability to shapeshift into any forest creature at will, but the deer seems to be her favorite.
