Anthony Rossi

Take everything you know about the typical Mob boss and turn it on its head. Yeah, Anthony is Italian, but he's from the Rossi family which moved over in the early 1800s, thus making him Italian, but watered down and American mostly. Brown hair, Brown eyes. Tall, Medium build. Smokes cigars, drinks Brandy. Grew up being watched by Isabella De Luca, who looked after him when his parents were working. Which was almost always. She taught him how to Play cards, smoke, drink and even gave him a few tips for the ladies, although he'll never admit it. Tony turned out to be the grandkid Isabella never knew she wanted, and She became the grandmother that he had always needed.
When he got out of school his pops decided that he was going to join him at the factory doing hard labor for little pay. Tony had other ideas and instead took to the streets with a few of his friends, robbing and mugging to get by. They moved to New York for a while, gathering Associates and friends who helped them grow in numbers, strength and Money. When the NY cops started coming down a bit heavy on the out of towners they headed back to Chicago where Tony set up shop under the guise of a *Auto Repair shop *Some sort of Distribution center *Factory in which he dealt with drugs, Bootleg booze and laundering money.

Tony has an eye on the reporter, Catherine, and wants to get to know her on a more personal level instead of the professional relationship they have now. He figures having not only the law, but the news on his side can only help him keep under the radar and out of the big house.
