Abigaille was all by herself now. Their small pack had been broken up in just the few short moments it took the opposing alpha to tear her mate apart. From there the small wolf ran, ran to the place where her pup was hiding. She grabbed him up in her jaws before he could make a sound and continued to run.
She ran for days and nights, resting only to feed her pup and drink. Finally she came to a rest, in an unoccupied part of a forest she didn't know. There were no scents around of other wolves. She quickly dug herself a small den under some tree roots and pulled her pup under there.
Fenris was his name, he was about 10 weeks old. He didn't understand what was going on but he was glad to be out of his mother's jaws. Abby nosed him and told him to stay quiet and off she went to hunt....
