The World Serpent...
The ocean was always his. The name was not. The name came from a particularly bright employee, one who desired to work with the various creatures the park had cooked up. He had approached the tank, large enough to comfortably hold a pod of whales with little issue, and with nose pressed against the thick glass, he had named him.Jormungand. It was a name pulled from Norse mythology, evoking visions of a large and powerful serpent--though the creature only sparsely resembled such a thing. Instead large, bony flippers steered his movement as a powerful tail propelled him through the water. Careful, slow movements designed to simply keep his body afloat.
