The foul biological terrorist known as "Arvond Vel Blod" has struck again.

It seems the self-proclaimed "Plague Doqutor" (his spelling) was attempting to spread a new virus to Centropolis using the Riverside Valley monorail station as his base for carriers. However, Leigh, the Griffin Warrior and Riverside's very own Battle Colosseum champion happened to be at the station at the time and managed to evacuate the station and thwart the Doqutor's plans. In keeping with his M.O. the Doqutor detonated the station to eradicate all evidence of his work. To the horror of witnesses it appeared Leigh did not escape the station in time.

No remains were found in the rubble and it seemed Leigh had vanished without a trace until word came a week later from the Griffin Academy that Leigh had returned home. While this was good news it was not the main concern of authorities who were trying to deal with the infected few from the station.

Of the five exposed to the virus two died and the remaining three are in critical condition.

Any attempts to get a statement from Leigh were turned down by the other Academy residents who would only say that she is resting and would give her statement when she recovers.

The current theory is that Leigh was flung clear by the blast and had wandered in a daze over the past week until she arrived back at her Academy.

As for what has become of the Doqutor, it seems that, yet again, he has escaped without a trace as he has since he was added to Subeta's Most Wanted list a decade ago.

The foul Plague Doqutor is credited with thousands of deadly outbreaks all over subeta over the last decade alone. It is also likely that he was responsible for much more before that time but our ability to trace the outbreaks' origins were futile until technological advances made it possible.

But how dangerous is he really?

According to bounty hunters and subetian authorities alike the Doqutor is very powerful, rivaling Impossible-level Battle Colosseum opponents from their descriptions. Whether this is true or simply an exaggeration created to ease the bruised pride after countless failed attempts to detain the Doqutor is up for debate. What is known is that since the Doqutor has been put on the Subetian Most Wanted List he has out-smarted, out-maneuvered, out-muscled, and out-right crushed any who got to close. And the one time they got him into a prison it wound up a pile of smoldering rubble.

Clearly Arvond is capable of some pretty horrific acts so his attack at the station is quite unsettling.

What does this attack mean for the near future? Will a cure be found in time to save the three remaining afflicted? Will the Doqutor make another attempt to send his virus into the city? And will the Foul Doqutor ever answer for his acts of terrorism?

With no satisfying answers presenting themselves all we can do is wait.
