I could do little more than stand and stare in complete disbelief at the words coming out of this mans mouth. I had always wondered if my father could sink any lower than he already had, and I finally recieved my answer.

William, or so he said his name was, folded the worn contract up, "Now," before slipping the piece of parchment back into the safety of his pocket. "M'Dear. You can either come with me willingly or unwillingly, but either way you will be coming with me."

I stood tall with my hands clasped together in front of my torso. "The only way I will be going with you is if you take me by force, and I must warn you: that isn't a wise idea."

He chuckled, apparently finding it amusing, but he didn't know that the corpses from the garden were already on their way to the front of the house. "I'll take my chances."

He barely had time to finish his sentence before I began to sprint a crossed the front lawn toward the woods surrounding the property. I didn't make it passed the fountain as he caught me by the wrist. I struggled, desperately trying to pry my arm from his painfully tight grasp but he quickly pulled me against his person and delivered a strong blow to my right side. I shrieked in agony as hot, salty tears began to cascade down my face, the heels of my boots were digging into the cracks of the stone walk way, slowing his pace some.

"You're coming with me one way or another!" He shouted before promptly throwing me down to the ground. I landed face first against the pavement but he rolled me onto my back and struck me a crossed the face, and blood poured from my nose, but just as he was drawing his arm back to strike me again something blurred rushed from behind and knocked him off of me. Then, the sounds of growling and the man screaming in agony.

I was stunned and confused at first, but wasted little time in pushing to my feet and rushing inside the house where I promptly locked the door behind me before I would look (from the safety of the house) out the window, to see who my savior was...

›› Antoinette was born with a silver spoon in her mouth; her mother was not only from a wealthy family (also having made a name for herself in the spotlight) but also she was from a well respected (and feared) family of necromancers. Her father while not on the same footing as far as power goes, he was from a wealthy family and owned his own business.

›› Due to an accidental fire, assumed by authorities an oil lamp had been tipped over by the family cat, Antoinette was taken in by her uncle, on her mothers side, his wife and their two children, Liam and Olivia.
----›› It is later found out from Antoinette that her mother had been dead prior to the firy blaze. Killed by her fathers hands and, at the same time, it is also found out she was molested by her father.

›› Antoinette has a natural talent for singing and, eventually, takes her place in the spotlight.

›› She is generally well liked by all classes of people though perfers to mingle with those of lower class as they don't quite live such a prudish lifestyle like those of higher classes do.
