I Have no real form but I am always watching. I have always watched the struggles of men from above. I am not a true earthly being.I have always observed and protected my people. They put trust and faith in me they have sung of me for generations. I have no true name or identity but I know who and what I am. I am a crane seeking the moon. The sky touching the ground. I give those in need strength to push through.

I have seen kings rise and fall wars won and lost. I once was a mortal just like them lost in the world but I was destined for something greater. I am Arirang the people sing of me and It has always brought me great joy. I am there life and spirit and I will not fade or sway even in times of trouble. I am not just a fading melody.I will live on in the hearts of millions.

What am I truly but a spirit seeking meaning? I am a traditional Korean folk song that has been sung for generations. I have taken many forms and will continue to develop and evolve. A song may not be a living being but I consider myself alive. I have been around for centuries and I hope not to fade away into nothingness. I will be whatever I am wished to be I will become hopes and dreams. I am Arirang I will never be forgotten.
