Emmalynn lives on a small Island called Hulaluu, probably the Subeta equivalent to Earth's Hawaii. The island had a tropical climate and was hooked on one thing. Surfing.

The waves on this island were excellent for such a sport. Summer time was always a buzz at the beaches. Everyone practising for the frequent competitions held. Emmalynn adored surfing and had since she was young. The rush she got when going down a big wave. The refreshing feeling of the water, it was the life. The only problem was.. well, she sucked at it. The refreshing feeling of the water? Yeah, that was her falling off her board. She was a mess. The locals would always laugh, especially when he spoke of winning competitions. "Sorry Emmalynn, you just can't surf.
Maybe you should find another hobby"?. What other hobby was there? Shell collecting? Fishing? How boring, she didn't want to collect shells or fish, Emmalynn wanted to surf!

Despite all the taunting, and the fact that she never even placed in a competition. Emmalynn still surfs to this day, she has her own style and she loves it. Even if you are not skilled or talented in your hobby, even if people put you down and tell you you're no good. You should never stop doing what you love. As long as you have fun, then it shouldn't matter. At least, that's what Emmalynn believes.
