A young girl ran around the playground. Her mother sat a few metres away, absorbed in a book. She was sitting up the top of the slide when she noticed a man approaching. He had a blue stuffed dog in his hand. Cautiously she watched as he got closer.
"Hello there sweetie, what's your name?"
"Anna"
"Well, Anna, Do you like toys?"
"Yea."
"What's your favourite colour?"
"Pink"
"Well, I have a stuffed dog, just like this one in my car, but it's pink. Would you like it?"
"Really? I like doggys"
"Yup, Really. Why don't you come with me and I'll give her to you?"
"But...but mummy and daddy say I should never go anywhere with a stranger."
"Well, I'm actually a friend of your mummy and daddy. Anyway, My car is just over there. Your mummy will be able to see us and we will come straight back."
"Well, ok then."


Anna slid down the slide and walked alongside the man. They walked across the playground to the carpark.
"Here we are, now there is a couple in there. Why don't you look and see which one you would like best?"
Anna leaned into the car. Suddenly she felt a shove in her back and she lost her balance, falling into the car. The door slammed behind her. Anna yelled and tried to open the door but it wouldn't open. The man got into the car and started the engine. Anna frantically banged on the window, shouting for help. But noone heard her cries.


A few minutes later Anna's mother looked up. She scanned the playground for her daughter, but apart from a blue stuffed dog, it was empty.


Over the next few months, more children went missing. None were ever seen again. The only clue left behind in each case?
A Blue, stuffed dog.
