In a world that is being overtaken by technology, there is not much room left for Luc, let alone the other mythical beings around him. Their forest was shrinking at an alarming rate and iron sickness seemed to be spreading among them. Their elder has even come down with the sickness within the last few moons and Luc knew they had to find somewhere else to reside soon or they could risk not only losing the elder but many others as humanity closed in... He had heard talk of a place that the humans had not yet reached that was pure and untouched by iron. Luc was growing desperate as their time grew short. He kneeled down and dug his fingers into the earth. He cried a prayer to his gods to allow his power to hold their small sanctuary intact while he searched for their way out. He felt the gods accept his plea as his power flowed down and spread along the roots of the lush forestry around. Felt the land around him shutter and strengthen from his powers.

Luc stepped to the edge of the forest looking back just once recalling his goodbyes to those he had grown up with. He let out a sigh and faced the real threat. Looking towards the smog-covered city to the north, he used the remaining energy he had to blend. His robes became jeans and a t-shirt. His gauntlet vanished from sight and his ears shrank and became rounded and plain. He walked onto the pavement where his feet burned. He looked down and realized he forgot shoes... With shoes now in place, he began his journey to the large monstrosity of a city to try and find answers.
